All Breeding and Foal rules must be followed to the 'T'! If people do not apply to these rules, we will report you and put you on the
Burn List.
You do not want to be on the burn list.

Foal Rules--
Acquiring a Foal-
Breeding a Foal
Obviously the first, and most known method is through a breeding.

A breeding must be presented to the group
through a note to be approved before a foal can be aquired.

Make sure permission from the horse(s) owner(s) is given before sending in a breeding approval.
You don't have to own any Drammens to request a breeding, but both owners must agree and you have to make sure you pay both owners separately for 'leasing' their horse.

Make sure it is a
Stallion and a
Mare that is breeding. No filly, colt and/or gelding can breed.

Have the foal designed by one of the horse owners. (if you own a horse and are requesting the breeding, the other owner traditionally designs the foal while you do the breeding picture.)

Breeding pictures do
NOT count for the foal's rank score!
-
Adopting a Foal
Can be obtained through
Imports,
Adoptables/Auctions or through special
Raffles through out the year.

These foals are LIMITED.

Come with a special, exclusive
+5 to ranking points from the beginning.

Have no lineage, unless someone has offered their horse as a AI donar.
--
Aging a Foal-
Through Real Time
All foals are in a special limited time.
Foals cannot age for 2 Real Time months and must have two pictures that the owner has self drawn!.

Commissioned, gifted, and traded art
does not count for aging your foal.

Foals aged prematurely will have the foal taken away. Second offense goes onto the Burn List.
Foals cannot breed! Therefore there is two months that the horse cannot breed. (this prevents baby machines)
-
Through Ranking Position
Foals that reach
rank 2 before 2 months can be aged before the 2 month mark.

Foals that reach this rank
do not have to age at that time.

Foals that age prematurely do no get any added benefits.

Proven that prematurely aged horses have a higher chance acquiring a popular breeding record. (shown through other groups)

Overal Rules
All horses MUST be of age to be eligible for breeding. (though foals can have 'reserved' spots when they do come of age. It is best if you seek approval of these ahead of time so a breeding can commence as soon as the foal is old enough.)
All breedings must be approved by the group through notes. Only one side of the pair needs to contact the group to be approved.

If a slot is reserved, but is not used, the next month's slot is still available!

Drammens
cannot have twins or triplets. If a mother is carrying twins, one will either be dead by birth or a few hours after birth. This is due to mare unable to carry two full foals and their long tails for so long. Not to mention a tail can choke the other baby.

Those on the burn list are forbidden to breed a horse, nor are they allowed to
own a horse. Avoid them.

Unapproved or secret breedings are not accepted WHAT-SO-EVER and will result in sudden burn listing for both parties. If you are unsure if the other party contacted the group, contact the group yourself! Better safe then sorry!
-
Age needed for breeding
Mares must be
5 years old to be eligible for breeding.

Stallions must be
4 years old to be eligible for breeding.

Breeding Limits--
Monthly Breeding Limits-
Stallion Limit
Stallions can only breed up to
4 times a month between the 1st of one month, to the 1st of the second month. (ex. 1st of Jan - 1st of Feb)

Stallions can reserve spots for studing for the next month, but can only have reservations up to the next month, not two months ahead of time.
-
Mare Limit
Mares can only breed up to
2 times a month between the 1st of one month, to the 1st of the second month. (ex. 1st of Jan - 1st of Feb)

Mares can reserve spots for brooding for the next month, but can only have reservations up to the next month, not two months ahead of time.

How to get around Breeding Limits-
Top Ten Horses~The top ten horses are those that have proven themselves within the group by having the leading scores out of all the horses registered. This doesn't always mean a permanent position.

The ten horses on the
Top Ten Horse List are allowed to have extra foals per month.

Stallions are allowed up to
8 times a month if on the top ten list.

Mares are allowed up to
4 times a month if on the top ten list.
-
Prove Breeders~ Proven Breeders are horses (with top ten allowances, or not) that have had
10 foals reached the second rank or higher.

All proven breeders are given a higher allowance then a top ten horse.

Stallions are allowed to breed up to 16 times in a month.

Mares are allowed to breed up to 8 times a month.

This is a permenant allowance that can only be taken away if an owner abuses the breeding rights.

Horses that are given this status
do not have to be breed, but have the highest allowance option if needed.

Is allowed to offer their horse as a parent to an
Import Foal to raise their rank.
--
Mutation Breeding-
Breeding Slot Restrictions
All mutation horses have
one monthly slot.

While on the Top Ten, they have
two monthly slots.

Once a proven breeder, they have
four monthly slots.

Slots can only be reserved up to a month in advance!

If a slot is reserved, but is not used, the next month's slot is still available!

Reminders
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check to make sure that the person you have your horse breeding to is not on the black list and that the horse is registered.
All breedings MUST be approved by the admins of the group first. So it's better if you don't waste your time and check to make sure the owner is not burn listed and that the horse is actually registered. If they're not, then the breeding will be declined, and if the breeding happens anyway, both users will be put on the burn list (if one is not already) and your horses will be considered non existent!
